France

Paris

Next stop on my trip was Paris, France. The first place i went to was the Palace of Versailles, which is in Versailles, a city fairly close to paris. The palace is a interesting sight, It looks like the roof was decorated with gold. Other than that it looked like any other palace. It has 2,300 rooms and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in france today. After Seeing the palace i went back to Paris, and went to the louvre museum, which is where the mona lisa is currently at. I personally don't understand why it is so famous, its a painting of a girl, or a weird looking guy, you can see those anywhere. After i saw the paintings, learned some artists names, i went to see the eiffel tower. The Eiffel tower is the highest building in paris and is one of the most paid sights anywhere on earth, or so they say. I thought that was weird, its a tower, its not even made of gold. If it was made of gold i might believe that. The first 3 floors are open to visits, and are open every day of the year. Which is nice because if one day you just want to get up and to to paris, you know at least one sight will be open when you arrive.
